Tesla Model 3 Production Started

The first Tesla Model 3 supposedly rolled off the assembly line this week, a major achievement for the company. Given the company’s huge valuation and its long-stated goal of building the Model 3 as the first “mainstream” electric vehicle for the masses.
Musk tweeted that production will grow "exponentially" over the coming months, with 100 units scheduled to be built in August and more than 1,500 in September. This is expected to grow to 20,000 in December, he added.
Production will rise to 500,000 units per year. The car has already amassed 400,000 pre-orders, with customers paying a £1,000 deposit to secure one.
