The Mercedes-Benz G-Class already looks tough on the outside, and has for four decades, but how does the all-new version fare in European New Car Assessment Program's -- aka Euro NCAP -- round of crash tests? The 2019 model achieved a perfect five stars in each of the four areas of assessment, which include adult occupant protection, child occupant protection, pedestrian protection and safety assist features -- a rating scheme that was introduced in 2009.
